Women's Golfers Place Fourth at Grove City

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's golf team placed fourth out of 11 teams at the Grove City Invitational on Thursday afternoon.

* The Lions tallied their best finish of the fall season with a 394
* For a second straight tournament, Maddie Salter (Walnutport, PA/Northampton) led Behrend with an 89 to tie for 8^th place
* Salter fired a 43 on the front nine and 46 on the back nine
* Kayla Lindberg (Austinburg, OH/Geneva) carded a team-low 39 on the back nine to finish tied for 12^th with a 95
* Nadia Bongiorni (Avella, PA/Avella) carded 103 to tie for 24^th in the field of 48
* Julia Sank (North East, PA/North East) and Mesa Wentling (Pymatuning, PA/Greenville) each carded a season-low 107
