ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend wrestling team competed at the Mt. Union Invitational on Sunday.

Zachary Ishman (Youngsville, PA/Youngsville) and Sam Svetz (North East, PA/North East) each tallied a win for the Lions.

At 174, Ishman pinned Zach Willard of Ohio Valley University in 0:53 and then was pinned by Austin Brooks of Mt. Union in 4:36.

Svetz, competing at the 157 weight class, defeated Kyle Jenkins of Mt. Union, 8-5. He then dropped  9-5 decision to J. Paura of Clarion.

Behrend returns to action on Wednesday against Alfred State. Match begins at 7 p.m.

The team will be collecting canned goods for "Grapple For Grub" at the door.
