Five Wrestlers Place at PSUAC; Paulson Takes First

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend wrestling team had five wrestlers place at the PSUAC Invitational held at Rec Hall on the campus of Penn State University on Sunday.

Key Moments:

* Jake Paulson (Erie, PA/McDowell) went 3-0 on the day to capture first place at 184
* Levko Higgins (Palmyra, PA/Palmyra) came up short one win of the championship at 174, going 2-1 and falling in the finals for second place
* Zachery Trim (Bemus Point, NY/Maple Grove) went 2-2 on the day to take fourth place at 197
* Freshman Tyler Speraw (Annville-Cleona, PA/Annville-Cleona) earned sixth place with a 2-3 record at 165
* Heavyweight Jake Kelly (Bridgeville, PA/Chartiers Valley) registered his first college win, pinning his opponent and placing sixth overall
