YORK, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend wrestling team competed in the 2023 NCAA Southeast Regional hosted by York College on Friday.

Key Moments:

* The Behrend Lions had seven wrestlers compete at Regionals
* At heavyweight, Kyle Trim (Bemus Point, NY/Maple Grove) dropped to the consolation bracket after his first match
* Trim battled Austin Williams of Delaware Valley, falling by a 9-5 decision
* Trim then defeated Brock Hofler of York College by major decision (10-0) to give him another chance of making it to day two
* Trim fell in his final match, 6-1, to Hayden Benner of Messiah
* This tournament concludes the season for Behrend
