ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend wrestling team will conclude their home schedule on Friday against Case Western and Gannon. The first match will begin around 5:15 p.m.

Penn State Behrend News & Notes

* The Behrend Lions competed twice last weekend, first defeating Ohio Wesleyan 40-7 and then competing at the JCC Open on Sunday
* On Saturday, the Lions won their sixth dual match this season
* Behrend jumped out to a 28-0 lead by winning the first five bouts
* Cole Neil (Saint Marys, PA/Saint Marys) and Martin Ohlsson (Westfield, NY/Westfield Academy) each recorded wins by fall for the Lions
* At the JCC Open, Jake Brown (Stroudsburg, PA/Stroudsburg) placed fourth at the 141 weight class
* Brown tallied a 3-2 record on the day, winning by pins in each match
* Peyton Hearn (Conneaut, PA/Conneaut) and Neil were recently ranked in the Southeast Regional rankings
* Hearn is first at the 149 weight class, while Neil is eighth at 133

Case Western News & Notes

* The Spartans enter the tri-match with an 8-2 record
* Case Western competed in the Pete Willson Invitational over the weekend
* The Spartans placed 18th out of 32 teams
* Graduate student Mitchell Arch placed eighth in the 165-pound bracket
* Arch's finish marked the best place by a Spartan at 165 in at least 15 years at the tournament
* Arch and Art Martinez rank first on the team with 24 wins this season

Gannon News & Notes

* The Golden Knights competed against the Lions back on Jan. 9
* Gannon defeated Behrend, 33-15
* Since then, the Golden Knights have won six straight dual matches to improve to 7-1 on the season
* Last time out, Gannon blanked Seton Hill 44-0 on Wednesday night
* The Golden Knights tallied two technical falls and two pins vs. the Griffins
