Kayla Frost Selected to NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region Team

Penn State Behrend women's soccer goalkeeper Kayla Frost (Venetia/Peters Township) has been selected to the Third Team of the NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region Teams.

Frost was a great performer all year long for the Behrend Lions and continued to turn away opponents' shots throughout the year.  Frost led the conference in goals against average of 0.13 and only allowed one goal in conference play.  Frost also led the AMCC in save percentage with an outstanding mark of .947.

Frost was named AMCC goalkeeper of the week two times and was selected to the All-AMCC First Team for the second time in two seasons.  This award caps off a great career for a well deserved Frost and this season in particular was one of her best.

The Behrend Lions were the AMCC regular season champions with a record of 9-0-1.  The blue and white fell short in the conference tournament but did advance to the championship game of the ECAC tournament before losing to Swarthmore by a score of 1-0.  The blue and white ended their season with an overall record of 15-4-3.
