Penn State Behrend Women's Soccer Ranked in NSCAA

The Penn State Behrend women's soccer program earned recognition in the latest NSCAA Great Lakes Regional Rankings released on Tuesday, October 20.

Behrend is ranked tied for ninth in the region with Transylvania (9-4-1) and Case Western Reserve (7-5-2). Atop the region is Otterbein with a 13-1 mark, followed by Denison, Ohio Northern, Centre, Allegheny, Thomas More, Wilmington, and Earlham. 

Behrend is 10-2-3 on the season and is the leader in the AMCC with a 6-0-1 record. "It is nice for our program to get this type of recognition," said sixth year head coach Patrick O'Driscoll. "The team is playing well right now and we are hoping this momentum will carry through the rest of the regular season and into the playoffs."

Next on the schedule for the blue and white will be two conference road games beginning at Medaille (7-6-2, 5-1-1) on October 21 and then on October 24 when they travel to Mount Aloysius (0-14, 0-6).
