CRESSON, Pa. – Glennis Robash scored the first and last goal in Penn State Behrend women’s soccer 4-0 win over Mt. Aloysius in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Saturday afternoon.

The Lions (11-5-1, 7-0-1 AMCC) defense held the Mounties to just four shots, while Robin Siegenthaler collected her third shut out of the season. Behrend extends its undefeated streak in conference play with one AMCC game remaining.

Dana Saunders also scored for the Lions and defender Rachel Mueller netted her first collegiate goal in the win.

Behrend kept Mt. Aloysius goalie Bethany Cocola busy, with 12 saves on 25 shots.

After a slow start in the first half with only a 1-0 lead, the Lions recorded three more in the second half. At the 22:01 mark in the opening half, Robash finished a pass from Lindsey Steinsdoerfer for her team-leading third assist of the year.

Behrend did not score again until the 66th minute, thanks to Saunders off a Kelly Thill assist. Ten minutes later, Mueller collected the unassisted tally and Robash adder her second goal with five minutes left to play. Valerie Wagner dished out the assist on the final goal.

The Lions return to action on Wednesday at D’Youville. Game time is 6 p.m.
