PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Carnegie Mellon women's soccer team scored two goals in each half to defeat Penn State Behrend 4-0 on the second day of the Tartan Classic on Sunday.

Taylor Troyan (Butler, PA/Butler) starting in between the pipes and made three saves for Behrend.

It only took 10:52 after the opening whistle for the Tartans to take a 1-0 lead when Stephanie Hare found the back of the net from 30 yards out. Jordyn Greenberg converted on one of Carnegie Mellon's 11 corner kicks in the 37th minute for a two-goal edge heading into halftime.

The Tartans did not score again until the 78th minute, but added two more within a minute thanks to Quiros.

Overall, Carnegie Mellon held a 19-3 shot and 11-2 corner kick advantage.

Behrend returns to action on Wednesday at Mt. Union. Game time is 6 p.m.
