Troyan Named AMCC Defensive Player of the Week

Freshman goalkeeper Taylor Troyan has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. It is the first time she has earned the honor.

ERIE, Pa. - Freshman goalkeeper Taylor Troyan (Butler, PA/Butler) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. It is the first time she has earned the honor.

Troyan made three saves to post her first shut out of the season, giving the Lions (1-5) their first win of the season against Westminster on Saturday. She also had five stops vs. Mt. Union earlier in the week.

Behrend returns to action on Thursday at Grove City. Game time is 4 p.m.
