Bilka, Belack Help Lions Down D'Youville

BUFFALO, NY – The scoring duo of Alex Bilka (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) and Olivia Belack (Upper St. Clair, PA/Upper St. Clair) led the Penn State Behrend women's soccer team past D'Youville 4-0 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Wednesday night.

Bilka recorded a pair of goals, while Belack tallied one and another was recorded as an own goal. The win marks the third time in the last four games the Lions (12-4-1, 6-2 AMCC) have won by a score of 4-0.  

Bilka, who leads the team with 11 goals, has recorded a point in 11 of the 16 games this season. She put away two goals in the second half in an eight-minute span.

Belack scored her ninth goal of the season at the 20:51 mark.

Bilka's second goal was an assisted tally at 61:25, while the final goal came in the 69th minute off another pass from Belack.

Taylor Troyan (Butler, PA/Butler) started the game and made two saves on two shots, before making way to Ania Gorski (Harborcreek, PA/Harbor Creek) for the final eight minutes. The defense also picked their eight shut out of the season.

Behrend returns to action on Saturday at Mt. Aloysius. The AMCC game begins at 1 p.m.
