Bilka Named Women's Soccer First-Ever NSCAA All-American

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend women's soccer junior Alex Bilka (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) has been named to the 2015 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division III All-America Team, announced on Thursday night.

The forward earned a spot on the All-America ballot after being named to the NSCAA All-Region first team and garnered third-team honors to become the first All-American in program history.

Bilka's recognition goes to show for the unprecedented year she had for the Lions. In just 21 games, she scored 17 goals and dished out 11 assists for a school-record 45 points. The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Year set three other records this season (career points, career goals and single-season assists). In her career with Behrend, she has already been named a three-time All-AMCC first-team selection and two-time All-Region player, with All-America accolades now added to her resume.
