ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Penn Behrend women's soccer team picked up their third win of the season with a 5-0 victory over Mt. Union in non-conference action on Wednesday night.

Jordan Oberlander (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) and Amanda Donohue (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) each tallied two goals to help the Lions (3-2) post their second straight five-goal game. Laura Schaefer (Erie, PA/General McLane) added a goal in the win.

Mackenzie Troyan (Butler, PA/Butler) made eight saves to register her second shutout in between the pipes.

Behrend scored five goals on 23 shots, starting with Shaefer's rocket free kick from the top of the box for the only goal in the first half at the 34:40 mark. The Lions added four unanswered goals in the second, getting back-to-back goals from Oberlander and then Donohue.

In the 57th minute, Olivia Belack (Upper St. Clair, PA/Upper St. Clair) played a through ball to Megan Schwartz (Shaler, PA/Shaler) who then one-touched the ball to Oberlander for a 2-0 lead. Seventeen minutes later, Oberlander beat three defenders and blasted a shot from 25-yards out past Paige Freel.

Donohue managed to get both goals within four minutes of each other. Alex Bilka (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) had a hand in the fourth goal, beating a defender around the corner and sliding the ball across the six to Donohue for a 4-0 lead.

Donohue acted alone on the final goal. She stole the ball and turned inside to score from 20 yards out for a 5-0 margin

The Lions return home on Saturday against Washington & Jefferson. Game time is 2 p.m.
