ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's soccer team captured their 15th Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championship on their home turf with a 2-0 victory over Pitt-Greensburg on Saturday.

Key Moments:
* This was a rematch from the 2019 Conference Title game that saw the Bobcats defeat the Lions 3-2
* 13:47 into the match, Brenna McGuire (McDonald, PA/South Fayette) received a pass at the top of the box from Mia Zec (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) and fired a low line drive to the bottom right to open the scoring
* Greensburg had Behrend pinned in their own end and on the defensive, forcing four corners following the goal
* Isabella Mollica (Moon Township, PA/Moon Area) scored the Lions second goal by bending a ball from near the goal-line off the far post and into the back of the net
* That was all the offense that Behrend needed, shutting out their opponent for the 10th straight game
* The Lions also increased their winning streak to 15
* Morgan Harding (Pittsburgh, PA/Carlynton) made two saves in goal and earned her eighth clean sheet of the season
* McGuire, Zec and Angelina Hofrichter (Canonsburg, PA/Canon-McMillan) were all named to the AMCC All-Tournament Team.
* With the win, Behrend also clinches an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament
