Women's Soccer Offense Explodes to Defeat Mt. Aloysius in AMCC Opener

CRESSON, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's soccer team exploded for a season-high seven goals to defeat Mt. Aloysius 7-2 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Saturday afternoon.

Key Moments

* Trinity Prestash (Phillipsburg, PA/West Branch) and Mia Zec (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) each tallied two goals in the Lions second win
* The Mounties tallied the first goal only 10 minutes after kickoff thanks to Katie Figinski
* Zec tied it at 1-all, before Prestash netted the eventual game-winning goal in the 24^th minute of the game
* Behrend scored six goals through out the first 45 minutes of the opening half
* Emily Clopp (Pittsburgh, PA/Canon-McMillan) and Arina Dillinger (Pittsburgh, PA/Montour) capped the scoring in the first half to give the Lions a 6-1 lead
* Dillinger and Lauren Kiser (Altoona, PA/Altoona) each registered their first goals of the season
* Kiser netted the lone goal in the second half for Behrend
* Karla Ochoa (Edinburg, TX/IDEA Toros College Preparatory), Christine Patterson (McKean, PA/General McLane) and Lizzie Hoff (Moon, PA/Moon Area) all added assists
* Morgan Harding (Pittsburgh, PA/Carlynton) and Riley Morningstar (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) split time in goal for Behrend
