Women's Soccer Lands Nine on All-AMCC Team

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's soccer team had nine named to the 2022 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Team, announced on Tuesday.

Trinity Prestash (Phillipsburg, PA/West Branch), Karla Ochoa (Edinburg, TX/IDEA Toros College Preparatory), Mia Zec (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) and Angela Belack (Pittsburgh, PA/Upper St. Clair) were chosen to the first team.

Emily Clopp (Canonsburg, PA/Canon-McMillan), Megan Krulisky (Clermont, FL/Lockport (NY)) and Morgan Harding (Pittsburgh, PA/Carlynton) were selected to the second team, while Lizzie Hoff (Moon, PA/Moon Area) and Bella Sestito (Pittsburgh, PA/Thomas Jefferson) landed on the third team.

Prestash, Ochoa, Clopp and Harding are repeating on the All-Conference Team.

Prestash started in all 19 games, leading the team with 16 goals and four assists for 36 points. Her 16 goal ranks third in the conference. Prestash has five-game winning goals this season. She tallied 11 goals in the month of October and recently scored four goals in the AMCC Tournament. Prestash also had a pair of hat tricks.

Ochoa and Zec were selected to the midfielders on the first team. Ochoa played in 15 games this season, scoring four goals and two assists for 10 points, while Zec ranked second on the team with seven goals for 14 points. Zec netted two goals on three occasions this season and converted all three penalty kicks taken, while scoring one game winner.

Belack earns her first spot on the All-Conference team, representing the defense. She helped the team post five shutouts this season and only allow five goals in conference play for a 0.80 goals-against average.

Clopp and Krulisky were on the second team in the midfield and on defense, respectively. Clopp managed six goals and three assists for 15 points as an outside midfielder. She tallied three goals in conference play and was one of three players to start every game. Krulisky started on defense in the final seven games for the Lions. She was instrumental in the five shutouts and holding conference opponents to five goals during the regular season.

Hoff, a freshman forward, and Sestito, a senior defender, completed the third team. Hoff led the team with six assists, while adding two goals for 10 points in her first season with Behrend. She played in all 19 games, starting in 16. Hoff tallied her first collegiate goal and assist against Mt. Union. Sestito transitioned to defense this year, starting in 13 games. She has one goal and one assist for three points. Sestito kept conference opponents off the scoreboard, allowing five goals in seven games.
