The Penn State Behrend women’s soccer team will host the annual Herb Lauffer Memorial Soccer Tournament this weekend at the soccer complex on Saturday and Sunday, September 2 and 3.

* The Lions were picked second in the annual AMCC Coaches Preseason Poll
* Behrend finished runners-up in the AMCC last year, falling in double overtime to Pitt-Greensburg
* Captains Trinity Prestash (Phillipsburg, PA/West Branch) and Mia Zec (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) are returning AMCC first-team selections
* Prestash recorded 16 goals and four assists last season, leading the team and ranking third in the AMCC in goals scored
* Zec ranked second on the team with seven goals for 14 points
* Head coach Patrick O'Driscoll begins his 18th year with the Lions, while assistant coach Kodie Johnson enters her first season on the sidelines
