Zec Helps Women's Soccer Past Allegheny

ERIE, Pa. – Senior midfielder Mia Zec (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) netted a pair of goals to help the Penn State Behrend women's soccer defeat Allegheny 2-1 in non-conference action on Saturday.

* Zec scored a goal in each half with the latter coming via penalty kick in the 65^th minute to prove to be the game winner
* Zec also tallied the game-opening goal in the 22^nd minute off a pass from Lizzie Hoff (Moon, PA/Moon Area)
* Zec had a sliding shot off a left-footed cross from Hoff for a 1-0 lead
* Hoff also had a chance to score early, firing a point-blank shot in the first two minutes, but couldn't get it past goalkeeper Kari May
