Women's Soccer Takes Down La Roche in AMCC Opener

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend soccer team registered their highest offensive output this season, defeating La Roche 5-0 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Saturday.

* The Lions scored three first-half goals and added two more in the second for the AMCC win
* Marlene Andrade (Walnut Creek, CA/Clayton Valley Charter) recorded her first multiple-goal game with a goal in each half
* Behrend tallied three goals in 14 minutes in the first half for a 3-0 lead
* Three other players scored for the Lions, starting with Trinity Prestash (Phillipsburg, PA/West Branch) off a pass from Maddie Haggerty (West Seneca, NY/Nardin Academy) in the 27^th minute
* Lauren Kiser (Altoona, PA/Altoona) assisted Andrade on her first tally at the 37:53 mark
* Kristi Buckenheimer (Beaver, PA/Beaver) concluded the scoring in the first half with her second goal of the season off an assist Ashley Ornowski (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin)
* Ornowski got her second assist on Andrade's second goal  in the 53^rd minute for a 4-0 lead, before Rori Kostos (Cleveland, OH/Hathaway Brown) got her first collegiate goal thanks to a pass from Arina Dillinger (Pittsburgh, PA/Montour)
