Prestash’s Header Pushes Lions Past Bobcats, 1-0

* The first half on Saturday was fairly quiet for either offense as the best scoring chance came in the eighth minute when Marlene Andrade (Walnut Creek, CA/Clayton Valley Charter) got into open space and sent a shot wide right
* Behrend led 6-1 in shots against the Bobcats after the first frame, but went into the half deadlocked at zero on the scoreboard
* The Lions applied more pressure in the second half with nine shots and three corner kicks
* Prestash had four good opportunities to put Behrend ahead, but her shots were just off the mark
* Finally, the senior midfielder received a corner kick from Andrade in the 84th minute off her head and into the back of the net for the game-winner and her team leading seventh goal of the season
* This marks the fifth helper of the year for Andrade
* Prestash tallied a game-high seven shots for the Lions, while the Bobcats picked up one shot on goal apiece from Reese Walker and Hailey Miller
* Behrend outshot Pitt-Greensburg 15-3 and had a 4-3 advantage in corner kicks
