GROVE CITY, Pa. – After day one of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Women's Swimming and Diving Championships held at Grove City College, Penn State Behrend sits in first place out of four teams with 106 points.

The Lions are also competing against the PAC teams this weekend in the 21st James E. Longnecker Invitational while going for their fifth conference title. In the overall rankings, Behrend is fifth out of 10 teams total, but paces the AMCC squads.

The 400 medley relay consisting of MaryEllen Spooner, Ragen, Julie Cook and Katie Van Epps swam in 4:07.38 to reset the AMCC record that Behrend established at last year's championships.
