Lions Wins Dual Meet Against Penn State Altoona
ALTOONA, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving team won nine out of 11 events to defeat Penn State Altoona 104-66 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Saturday.

The win marks the first dual-meet victory for the Lions. Anna Rose Watterson (Baldwin, PA/Seton-La Salle) and Alex Isaacson (Williamsport, PA/Williamsport) each won two individual events and were apart of one winning relay.

Watterson won the 1000 free (11:52.32) and 500 free (5:51.04), while joining Isaccson, Meagan Daily (Pittsburgh, PA/Our Lady of the Sacred Heart) and Mary Therese Causgrove (Erie, PA/McDowell) the victory in the 200 medley relay with a time of 2:10.97.

Isaacson posted a time of 2:36.01 in the 200 IM for first place and then recorded a winning time of 1:12.26 in the 100 backstroke.

In the 200 free, Lauren Rosato (Pittsburgh, PA/Chartiers Valley) led the event with a time of 2:21.03 and Hannah Kelly (Elizabeth, PA/South Allegheny) placed second overall in 2:26.28. Kelly was also runner up in the 100 butterfly (1:20.76).

Daily was the top swimmer in the 100 butterfly (1:12.34), before her, Rosato, Daily and Mia Pietropola (Pittsburgh, PA/Plum) won the 200 free relay (1:57.68).

Finally, Pietropola won the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:11.84 and was second in the 50 free (27.03).

Behrend returns to action on Saturday, January 18 at Washington & Jefferson. Meet time is 1 p.m.
