ERIE, Pa. – The Malone women's swimming and diving team defeated Penn State Behrend 124-58 in non-conference action on Friday night in the Junker Center Pool.

* The Pioneers collected their sixth win of the season thanks to first-place finishes in 11 events
* Marcella Puglia (Beaver Falls, PA/Blackhawk) was the lone winner for the Lions
* Puglia touched the wall in 2:02.85 to capture the 200 freestyle
* Barbie Cessar (Slippery Rock, PA/Slippery Rock) each took second in three events on the day
* Cessar was runner up in the 200 IM (2:25.79), 100 backstroke (1:09.06) and 100 breaststroke (1:12.43)
* Trulee Stainbrook (DuBois, PA/DuBois) also took second for Behrend in the 100 freestyle (59.83) and then placed third in the 50 free (27.13)
