MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's swimming and diving team ended their abbreviated season with a 473-283 win over Allegheny in a two-day competition concluding on Sunday. The women's fell to the Gators, 487-245.

Key Moments:

* Jacob Schmidt (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) won the 200 freestyle and was also a part of the winning 400 freestyle relay
* Schmidt led a 1-2-3 finish in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:45.25. Andrew Harris (Murrysville, PA/Franklin Regional) was in second in 1:48.69 and Justin Heller (Franklin, PA/Rocky Grove) touched in 1:52.60 for third
* Rob Thompson (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill East) led a Behrend swept 100 backstroke. He won in 56.21, followed by Cole Dombrosky (Mount Pleasant, PA/Mount Pleasant) in second (57.10) and Schmidt in third (58.64)
* Schmidt, Harris,  Heller and Jacob Eshelman (Franklin, PA/Franklin) posted a time of 3:13.72 to win the 400 freestyle relay
* Matt Karenbauer (Butler, PA/Knoch) tallied a pair of second-place finishes
* Karenbauer swam the 100 IM in 57.07 for second after joining Dombrosky, Alex Croll (Honolulu, HI/Roosevelt) and Schmidt in the 200 medley relay
* The relay team was .10 seconds shy of first place with a time of 1:38.60

Women's Key Moments:

* Barbie Cessar (Slippery Rock, PA/Slippery Rock) won the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:32.37
* Diver Julia Sank (North East, PA/North East) recorded a one-meter diving score of 120.80 for first place
* Emma Webster (Bradford, PA/Bradford) tallied a second-place finish in the 100 backstroke (1:02.93)
