Women's Swimming and Diving Continues to Lead at Blue Devil Invite

FREDONIA, NY – The Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving team continues to be in first place with a team score of 1181.5 after day two of the Fredonia State Blue Devil Invite on Saturday.

Key Moments:


* Behrend nearly tripled their score from day one to stay out in front of the field of five other teams
Jadyn Danylko (Erie, PA/McDowell) and Camryn Watters (Greensburg, PA/Hempfield) were the individual winners of the night
* Danylko won the 100 butterfly with a time of 59.55 and Watters won the 100 backstroke (58.35)
* Watters also broke the team record in the 50 backstroke in the first leg of the 200 medley relay with a time of 27.06
* Madelyn King (Uniontown, PA/Uniontown) took third place in the 400 IM with a time of 4:55.93 while Isabel Sheridan (Allentown, PA/Parkland) came in fifth (5:06.37)
Becca Krenzer (Grove City, PA/Grove City) had the fastest time for the Lions in the 200 freestyle, swimming in 2:04.39 for third place
Lauren Stephens (Fairview, PA/Fairview) came in second in the three-meter diving with a score of 366.05
* The foursome of Sheridan, Emily Russell (Oil City, PA/Oil City), Samantha Sebulak (Erie, PA/McDowell) and Aliya Webster (Bradford, PA/Bradford) had a time of 8:37.36 to place second in the 800 free relay
