BUFFALO, NY – The Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving team's 200 medley relay broke a team record while placing second overall to help the Lions sit in third place after day one of the 2025 SUNYAC-AMCC Championships at the Flickinger Aquatic Center at Erie Community College on Wednesday.
Combined Women's Scores: T1. Alfred State (90), T1. SUNY Cortland (90), 3. Penn State Behrend (84), 4. SUNY Oswego (78), 5. Penn State Altoona (58), T6. SUNY New Paltz (54), T6. SUNY Oneonta (54), 8. Pitt-Bradford (40), 9. SUNY Potsdam (38), 10. SUNY Fredonia (34)
Noteworthy:
* The Behrend Lions are six points out from first place after day one of the championships
* The Lions competed in three events, including 3M diving and two relays
* The foursome of Camryn Watters (Greensburg, PA/Hempfield), Lauren True (Denton, TX/Guyer), Jadyn Danylko (Erie, PA/McDowell) and Marin O'Lone (Edinboro, PA/General McLane) set a new Behrend team record in the 200 medley relay
* The relay broke a 13-year old team record with a time of 1:50.04 to claim silver
* The second relay of the night consisted of Kallie Smith (Oil City, PA/Oil City), Samantha Sebulak (Erie, PA/McDowell), Logan Wilson (Hermitage, PA/Hickory) and Madelyn King (Uniontown, PA/Uniontown)
* The Lions clocked in at 8:04.12 to take fourth overall and second in the AMCC
