Women's Swimming and Diving Crowns Three Champions on Day Three of SUNYAC-AMCC Championships
The Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving team crowned three AMCC Champions on the third day of the 2025 SUNYAC-AMCC Championships at the Flickinger Aquatic Center at Erie Community College on Friday.
BUFFALO, NY – The Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving team crowned three AMCC Champions on the third day of the 2025 SUNYAC-AMCC Championships at the Flickinger Aquatic Center at Erie Community College on Friday.
Combined Women's Scores: 1. SUNY Cortland (687), 2. Penn State Behrend (470), 3. SUNY Oswego (373), 4. Alfred State (371), 5. SUNY Oneonta (227), 6. Penn State Altoona (185), 7. SUNY New Paltz (164), 8. SUNY Potsdam (133), 9. Pitt-Bradford (70), 10. SUNY Fredonia (67)
Noteworthy:
* The Lions are in second place overall with a score of 470 and lead all the AMCC Teams
* Camryn Watters (Greensburg, PA/Hempfield), seeded first with an NCAA "B" cut time and the school record, won the 100 backstroke for a second straight year with another "B" cut time and an AMCC Open record time of 56.64
* Marin O'Lone (Edinboro, PA/General McLane) took third in the 100 backstroke (1:00.50)
* Behrend had two finalists in the 200 freestyle, led by Kallie Smith (Oil City, PA/Oil City) in third place overall but first in the AMCC to claim the title in 1:58.70 while Logan Wilson (Hermitage, PA/Hickory) followed in fifth with a time of 1:59.12
* In the 100 butterfly, Jadyn Danylko (Erie, PA/McDowell) broke the team record in the prelims with a time of 58.57, before placing third overall and second in the AMCC with a time of 58.59
* Samantha Sebulak (Erie, PA/McDowell) also made the finals and finished seventh in the 100 butterfly in 1:02.03
* Madelyn King (Uniontown, PA/Uniontown) sat in sixth place after the 400 IM prelims and finished fourth overall and second in the AMCC with a time of 4:50.12
* In the same event, Isabel Sheridan (Orefield, PA/Parkland) was fifth in 4:55.30
* In the 100 breaststroke, Hanny Shen (Tegucigalpa, Honduras/Academia Los Pinares) had Behrend's top time with 1:10.92 for fifth place and second in the AMCC
* The cap of the night was the winning 400 medley relay that had a record-breaking performance
* Watters, Smith, Danylko and O'Lone reset the team record they broke earlier this year, clocking in at 3:58.26 for the AMCC Meet and Open record while taking first place
