NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster women's tennis team tallied a 9-0 win over Penn State Behrend in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon.
The Titans were victorious in all three doubles and six singles games to sweep the Lions (4-3).
Chelsea Czerwinski (Erie, PA/Mercyhurst) and Alexandra Laffey (Sewickley, PA/North Allegheny) had the closest doubles match with an 8-5 loss at the No. 1 spot.
Czerwinski had a good battle at No. 1 singles, but fell 7-5 and 6-3.
Behrend returns to action on Friday at Pitt-Greensburg. Match begins at 5:30 p.m.
