HILTON HEAD, SC – In the final match of their spring break trip in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, the Penn State Behrend women's tennis team fell 7-2 to Lawrence Tech on Friday afternoon.

Jacqueline Cannella (Bradford Woods, PA/North Allegheny) and Colleen Miller (Louisville, OH/Louisville) tallied the lone doubles win for the Lions (13-7). The duo posted an 8-6 victory over Carolya McCullen and Missy Coolsaet at No. 2.

Behrend fell by scores 8-5 in the other two doubles matches.

Chelsea Czerwinski (Erie, PA/Mercyhurst) earned the lone singles win at the No. 1 spot. She registered a 6-3, 7-6 (7-5 tiebreaker) decision over Paige Fallu.

Behrend returns to action on Tuesday, April 5 at Houghton. Match begins at 5 p.m.
