ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's tennis team will travel to Wexford, PA to face La Roche on Friday afternoon at 5 p.m. at the Oxford Club.

* Freshman Emily Hood has the lone singles win for the Lions at the No. 6 spot

La Roche News & Notes:

* The Redhawks welcome the Lions for their home opener
* La Roche is also in search of its first win of the season, after falling to Franciscan nearly a week ago (9-0)
* Head Coach Kevin Girard is in his second season with the Redhawks

* Last season, the Lions defeated La Roche 5-4 on Sept. 9.
* Marissa Bowles won the decisive singles match at the No. 1 spot to lift Behrend past La Roche (7-6, 6-4)
