Women's Tennis Hosts Mt. Aloysius Saturday
The Penn State Behrend women’s tennis team will host the Mount Aloysius Mounties in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Saturday at Westwood Racquet Club, beginning at 3 p.m.
ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's tennis team will host the Mount Aloysius Mounties in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Saturday at Westwood Racquet Club, beginning at 3 p.m.

* The Behrend Lions posted their first AMCC win of the season over Medaille last Saturday
* The Lions only surrendered one singles match for an 8-1 victory
* Marissa Bowles (South Orange, NJ/Columbia) and Jada Donatien (Brooklyn, NY/Millburn) tallied a tiebreaker win at No. 1 doubles. The duo won 8-7 (7-3)
* At No. 2 doubles, Audra Carnes (Fairview, PA/Fairview) and Erica Jasinski (Fairview, PA/Fairview) were 8-3 winners
* Rachel Weber (Hampton, PA/Hampton) and Sara Howard (Ashtabula, OH/Edgewood) got their second AMCC doubles win at the No. 3 spot
* Jasinski also won her first collegiate match for the Lions at No. 1 singles with 7-5, 6-3 decision
* Howard is now 2-1 on the season at No. 6 singles, ranking third in the AMCC
* Behrend is 1-2 overall and 1-1 in the AMCC with two AMCC matches left to play

* The Mounties are 1-3 overall and 1-2 in the AMCC this season
* Mt. Aloysius is also coming off a win against Medaille (6-3)
* Payton Whysong ranks third in the AMCC at No. 1 singles with a 2-2 record
* The Mounties sit in fifth place in the AMCC standings with the top four making the conference tournament
