Women's Tennis Claims AMCC Championship; Jasinski, Howard Named All-Tournament Team
ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's tennis team won their 14th Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships with a 5-4 win over No. 1 Pitt-Greensburg on Sunday at the Westwood Racquet Club.

Key Moments:
* Behrend avenged a regular-season loss to the Bobcats to claim the AMCC Championship for the first time since 2015
* The title came down to the No. 1 singles match between Erica Jasinski (Fairview, PA/Fairview) and Emily Ruhlman
* Jasinski won the first set in a tiebreaker 7-6 (9-7), before falling in the second set 6-2
* In the super tiebreaker, Jasinski tallied a 10-5 win to break a 4-all tie and give Behrend the win
* The Lions were down 2-1 after the doubles matches, claiming the No. 3 match thanks to while Rachel Weber (Hampton, PA/Hampton) and Sara Howard (Ashtabula, OH/Edgewood) 
* Weber and Howard posted a 8-5 win at the third spot over Kesley Murphy and Stephanie Pantelas
* After falling the No. 2-3 singles matches, Behrend registered wins in 4-6 singles to even the match at 4-all and leaving the championship up to No. 1 singles 
* With the win, the Lions handed Pitt-Greensburg its first loss of the season
