Nola Breaks School Record; Women's Outdoor T&F Competes at Ashland

ASHLAND, Ohio – Olivia Nola (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) broke a 21-year old program record in the 1500m to lead the Penn State Behrend women's outdoor track & field team at the Ashland Invitational on Saturday.

Key Moments:

* Nola won the 1500m event with a new-school record time of 4:43.52
* Thrower Julia Balaski (Mercer, PA/Mercer) was fifth in the javelin (35.13m) and Haley Felton (Midway, PA/Fort Cherry) placed ninth in the 400m hurdles
* In the 400m, Ivy Laffan (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) had Behrend's best time in 1:01.83 for 11th overall
