The Lions (13-3, 3-0 AMCC) defeated the defending AMCC Champions in four sets, 21-25, 25-17, 25-20, 25-9. The Mavericks came out and took the first set, before Behrend bounced back to win the next three.

Bean and Hopson had déjà vu' recording a kill and an ace, respectively, to close out the third game, 25-20.

In the fourth set, Behrend proved why they never should have lost the first set. The Lions forced a Medaille timeout after a quick 7-2 lead to start. Behrend went on a 10-3 run to end the set and win 25-9.
