FREDONIA, NY – Sara Madison had 11 kills and Kelly Edinger tallied 27 assists to lead the Fredonia State women's volleyball team past Penn State Behrend 3-0 in non-conference action on Tuesday night.

The Blue Devils (22-8) earned a 25-16, 25-21 and 25-23 victory to extend their win streak to 12 straight matches while snapping the Lions (19-8) five-match winning streak.

Chelsea Magnusen (Plum, PA/Plum) recorded 30 assists and six kills. Newcomer Alyssa Samarco (Plum, PA/Plum) was near a double-double with nine kills and seven digs.

Lindsay Bean (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) also added nine kills and Meredith Snyder (Parker, PA/Allegheny Clarion Valley) contributed six kills and four blocks.

Libero Tory Storino (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) and Allaina Banta (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) each posted nine digs.

Behrend returns to action on Saturday at Pitt-Greensburg, beginning at 1 p.m.
