Lions Finish Regular Season Undefeated in AMCC Play

GREENSBURG, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team posted their second consecutive undefeated Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) season with a 3-0 win over Pitt-Greensburg on Saturday.

In the regular-season finale, the Lions (20-8, 9-0 AMCC) earned a 25-10, 25-19, 25-18 decision to mark the fifth time in program history the team went undefeated in conference action. It was also the sixth time this season Behrend shut out an AMCC opponent.

Chelsea Magnusen (Plum, PA/Plum) was productive with 29 assists and strong at the net with six blocks. Meredith Snyder (Parker, PA/Allegheny Clarion Valley) led with 10 kills and added three blocks.

Allaina Banta (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) helped with 14 digs and Alyssa Samarco (Plum, PA/Plum) tallied nine kills.

Lindsay Bean (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) had five blocks and five kills, while Tory Storino (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) contributed nine digs.

The Lions return to action on Saturday in the AMCC Semifinals in the Junker Center.
