BRADFORD, Pa.- In a close Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) women's volleyball match, Pitt-Bradford were able to get by Penn State Behrend 3-2 on Wednesday night.
The Panthers (8-13, 2-1 AMCC) posted a five-set victory (17-25, 25-17, 26-24, 21-25, 15-12) to hand the Lions (13-4, 2-1 AMCC) their first conference loss.
Meredith Snyder led with 18 kills and four blocks, while Alyssa Samarco recorded a double-double with 16 digs and 14 kills.
Hannah Saunders dished out 39 assists and added three blocks. Courtney Hopson made 13 digs, followed by Allania Banta with one less at 12.
Behrend returns to action on Saturday at La Roche. Matches begin at 12 p.m.
