ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team defeated Thiel 3-0 in non-conference action in the Junker Center on Tuesday night.

Final Score: Penn State Behrend 3, Thiel (25-21, 25-9, 25-19)

* The Lions came back from a five-point deficit in the first set to pick up a 25-21 win
* Behrend held the Tomcats to just five kills in the second set to take a 2-0 lead in the match (25-9)
* The Lions never trailed in the third, pulling out to an early 9-2 lead and holding on for a 25-19 victory
* For the third straight match, freshman outside hitter Kristin Reiland (Fairview, PA/Villa Maria Academy) led with double-digit kills and knocked down a match-high 10. She also hit .500 for the match
