Behrend Volleyball Heads to Kean Saturday

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team will travel to Union, New Jersey for a pair of non-conference matches on Saturday. The Lions will battle Kean at 12 p.m. and Brooklyn at 2 p.m., hosted by Kean.

* The Lions snapped a four-match skid with a 3-1 win over Grove City on Wednesday night
* Behrend ran away with the first set 25-7 and won the last two sets 25-15, 25-10
* The Lions relied on the serving of Keely Hering (North East, PA/North East) and Maddie Clapper (Hollidaysburg, PA/Hollidaysburg) for the non-conference win
* Hering served 13 straight points in the first set and Clapper ended the match on her eight consecutive points
