Behrend News & Notes:
* The Lions snapped a four-match skid with a 3-1 win over Grove City on Wednesday night
* Behrend ran away with the first set 25-7 and won the last two sets 25-15, 25-10
* The Lions relied on the serving of Keely Hering (North East, PA/North East) and Maddie Clapper (Hollidaysburg, PA/Hollidaysburg) for the non-conference win
* Hering served 13 straight points in the first set and Clapper ended the match on her eight consecutive points
* Hannah Phillips (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) hit. 406 with a season-best 14 kills and Clapper tallied a season-high 30 digs
* Senior setter Dani Kosslow (Pittsburgh, PA/South Park) dished out a season-high 37 assists on 48 kills
* As a team, Behrend is ranked first in the AMCC in assists per set (10.47) second in kills per set (11.22)

* Kean is coming off a 3-1 win over Ramapo on Tuesday night to improve to 3-4 on the season
* In the only meeting between the Lions and Cougars, Kean posted a 3-1 victory back in 2014
* In their seven matches, the Cougars have won the first set six times
