Behrend Volleyball vs. Alfred State - AMCC Game of the Week

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team will host Alfred State in a showdown of the two undefeated teams remaining in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) on Wednesday night in the Junker Center. The match begins at 7 p.m.

* The Lions are now 16-4 overall and 5-0 in the AMCC after posting a 3-1 win at La Roche on Saturday
* Sarah Cole (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) hit .351 in a pair of wins for the Lions this week
* Cole tallied 20 kills, five blocks and two digs in the week, while also registering a team-high 13 kills on 26 attempts at La Roche
* Kristin Reiland (Fairview, PA/Villa Maria Academy) registered her fourth double-double of the season with 11 kills and 10 digs vs. the Redhawks
* Senior setter Dani Kosslow (Pittsburgh, PA/South Park) ranks fifth in career service aces and needs two more to move into fourth place and 18 for third place

* The Pioneers have won 10 straight for a 14-1 overall record and 4-0 mark in the AMCC
* Alfred State is coming off a pair of wins over Mt. Aloysius on Saturday
* The Pioneers tallied a 25-23, 25-15, 25-12 decision in the conference game and then posted a 3-0 win in the non-conference match against the Mounties
* Nayomie Ferrer was named the AMCC Offensive Player of the Week
* Ferrer passed out 101 assists in three wins for the Pioneers, averaging 12.33 assists per set
