Behrend Women's Volleyball Completes Undefeated AMCC Season

CRESSON, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team swept Mt. Aloysius 3-0 in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) finale on Saturday afternoon.

Final Score: Behrend 3, Mt. Aloysius 0 (25-21, 25-10, 25-13)
Records: Penn State Behrend (20-5, 8-0 AMCC), Mt. Aloysius (4-16, 3-5 AMCC)

Key Moments:

* The Lions did not lose a single conference contest, going undefeated (8-0) for the second straight official AMCC season
* Behrend had its third best hitting match of the season with a .376 attack percentage
* Kristin Reiland (Fairview, PA/Villa Maria Academy) posted her seventh match with no errors and her second-best hitting percentage (.733)
* Reiland registered 11 kills on 15 attack attempts to go with six digs and five block assists
* Dani Kosslow (Pittsburgh, PA/South Park) handed out 31 assists and posted five aces
* Maddie Clapper (Hollidaysburg, PA/Hollidaysburg) led once again with 15 digs
* The Lions had a four-point lead in the first set on seven occasions and won with that point margin on a kill by Reiland at 25-21
* Mt. Aloysius had the first set tied at 12-all, but the Lions used a four-point run to stay out on front
* Behrend tallied 13 kills with no errors on 21 attempts to take a 2-0 lead in the match with a 25-10 decision
* The Lions managed a 12-4 lead in the third set, growing it to 20-8 and winning the match on a kill by Brooke Joncas (Corry, PA/Corry)
* Joncas also had double-digit kills with 11
* Behrend held the Mounties to single-digit kills in each set for the win
