Behrend Women's Volleyball Opens Season at Great Lakes Cross Over
The Penn State Behrend women’s volleyball team dropped a pair of 3-0 matches to Hiram and to St. Mary’s College of Notre Dame to open the 2024 season at the Great Lakes Cross Over hosted by Heidelberg at Cedar Point on Friday night.

SANDUSKY, Ohio – The Behrend women's volleyball team dropped a pair of 3-0 matches to Hiram and to St. Mary's College of Notre Dame to open the 2024 season at the Great Lakes Cross Over hosted by Heidelberg at Cedar Point on Friday night.
Match One:
Final Score: Hiram 3, Behrend 0 (28-26, 25-18, 25-22)
Records: Penn State Behrend (0-1), Hiram (1-0)
Key Moments:
* The Lions nearly won the first set, falling in extra points 28-26
* The Terriers held Behrend to single-digit kills in each set
* Sarah Nobach (Athens, MI/Athens) led the team with 17 digs

* St. Mary's tallied a pair of kills and capitalized on an attack error to win the first set, 25-22
