The Behrend women’s volleyball team competed against Anderson and Monmouth on day two of the Great Lakes Cross Over hosted by Heidelberg at Cedar Point on Saturday afternoon. The Lions fell 3-0 in both matches.

SANDUSKY, Ohio – The Behrend women's volleyball team competed against Anderson and Monmouth on day two of the Great Lakes Cross Over hosted by Heidelberg at Cedar Point on Saturday afternoon. The Lions fell 3-0 in both matches.
Match One:
Final Score: Anderson 3, Behrend 0 (25-11, 25-22, 25-21)
Records: Penn State Behrend (0-3), Anderson (3-0)
Key Moments:
* The Lions hit .357 in the first set with six kills and one attack error
* Behrend rallied from a 17-4 deficit in the second set to pull within three, coming close to winning their first set of the season
* Cadence Jones (North East, PA/North East) had a season-best nine kills
* Freshman setter Brynne Smith (Butler, PA/Knoch) posted 15 assists and two service aces
* Pacing the team with 10 digs was Sarah Nobach (Athens, MI/Athens)
