No. 3 Women's Volleyball Takes on No. 2 Penn State Altoona in AMCC Semifinals at Alfred State

ERIE, Pa. – The No. 3 Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team will battle No. 2 Penn State Altoona in the semifinals of the 2024 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships on Saturday afternoon at Alfred State. Match begins at 4:30 p.m.

No. 3 Penn State Behrend News & Notes:

* The Behrend Lions defeated La Roche for the second straight match to advance to the semifinals
* The Lions used identical scores in each set to sweep the Redhawks
* Cadence Jones (North East, PA/North East) cranked out her 13^th double-double of the season with 16 kills and 13 digs
* Brynne Smith (Butler, PA/Knoch) dished out 33 assists, and Salas-Garcia added eight kills and nine digs
* Sydney Petko (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) had a match-high four aces and Hannah Smith (Harborcreek, PA/Harbor Creek) hit .400 on seven kills
