Bridget Cheng Named to 2008 CWPA Women's All-Academic Team

Penn State Behrend's Bridget Cheng (San Jose, CA/Monta Vista) was named to the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) women's water polo Varsity All-Academic Team.

The CWPA selected 91 student-athletes to the women's team.  Athletes were nominated by coaches/sports information directors based on their grade point average.  The were also active participants on the team and full-time students. 

Athletes were recognized in three different categories based on grades posted through the 2007-08 academic year. Cheng, a freshman driver, earned classification in the Superior category (3.41-3.7).
