ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend women's water polo team fell to Grove City 17-5 on Thursday night.

Anne Lawrence (State College, PA/State College) led the way for the Lions (0-4) with a hat trick. Lindsay Musoleno (Hatfield, PA/North Penn) and Emily Spicher (Falls Creek, PA/DuBois) each contributed one goal.

The second half was close, with Grove City only scoring two more goals than Behrend. However, the Lions could not overcome the 10-goal first half deficit.

Elizabeth Causgrove (Erie, PA/McDowell) held strong in net with 12 saves.

Behrend will be back in the water on Saturday.  The Lions will host Chatham at 11 a.m. and Utica at 5 p.m.
