ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's water polo team and three individuals were recognized by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches Association (ACWPC) for the 2014 All-Academic Awards.
Senior Paula Rusca (Chicago, IL/Whitney Young) and sophomore Lauren Rosato (Pittsburgh, PA/Chartiers Valley) were named to the Superior All-Academic Team for achieving a grade-point average of 3.70-3.41. Junior Breanne Martinez (La Mirada, CA/St. Joseph) was named to the Excellent All-Academic Team, featuring student-athletes with GPA's of 3.40-3.20.
As a team, the Lions were recognized with an All-Academic Award for posting a 3.03 combined GPA for the 2013-14 season.
