* The Lions fell behind 5-1 in the first period, a deficit they were unable to overcome
* Behrend had a strong second period, outscoring the Tigers 2-1 with goals scored by Lauren O'Brien (San Ramon, CA/California) and Selena Hughes (Carlsbad, CA/San Marcos)
* As a team, the Lions had 23 shots on goal
* Shannon Young (Roseville, CA/Roseville) led Behrend with three goals and one assist
* O'Brien followed with two goals and Hughes, Angela Laier (Lansing, MI/Holt) and Alison McClure (Loveland, OH/Milford) had one a piece
