ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's water polo team fell to Grove City and Mercyhurst in day two of the CWPA Regional Tournament 3.

Game 1
* Behrend fell to Grove City in game one, 12-11
* The Lions fell behind 2-0 quickly in the first but were able to score two straight by Kayla Scarpaci (Cypress, TX/Langham Creek) and Emily McNaughton (Wexford, PA/Pine-Richland) to tie it up
* Behrend ended the period down 4-3 as the Wolverines scored with just five seconds left
* The Lions continued to be behind, down 7-5 at halftime
* In the second half, Behrend quickly caught up, tying the game 8-8 midway through the third with goals from Brooklynn Mocny (Sunnyvale, CA/Homestead), Scarpaci, and Angela Laier (Lansing, MI/Holt)
* They ended the quarter down 11-10 after an attempt at a last second shot
* Grove City and the Lions each scored one in the final period for the Wolverines win
Game 2
* The Lakers took down Behrend in game two, 8-1
* The Lions fell behind 7-1 by the third quarter
* Behrend's Laier scored a goal with three minutes left in the third period, assisted by Sarah Mancebo (Tulare, CA/Mission Oak)
* The Lions scored two more goals by Scarpaci in the final period, but were unable to overcome the deficit
* Chloe Dodgen (Riverside, CA/Hillcrest) tallied seven saves in goal
