LA VERNE, Ca. – The Penn State Behrend dropped their first two games of their trip to the west coast to Fresno Pacific and La Verne on Saturday.

Penn State Behrend 0-8, Fresno Pacific 3-14, La Verne 7-3

Key Moments:

* Both Shannon Young (Roseville, CA/Roseville) and Emily McNaughton (Wexford, PA/Pine-Richland) scored twice with each scoring once in the third and fourth periods
* Chloe Dodgen (Riverside, CA/Hillcrest) made 17 saves in the loss
* Fresno Pacific jumped out to a seven-goal lead in the first and took a 12-0 advantage into the third period
* McNaughton struck first for the Lions against La Verne in the second period
* The tally by McNaughton stopped a 8-0 run that the Leopards opened with
